1/ waters are calm again, and decisions have been made. let's dive into $SOC, the ONLY token empowering EVERYTHING TAS @the_ape_society 🪙 * tokenomics * current utility * potential read until the end for some LEVVY 🤝 $SOC alpha 👀

TLDR: For the foreseeable future, we are going to make **EVERYTHING ABOUT APES AND SOC**. Next up, we’re reconsolidating Levvy into the $SOC ecosystem as before. We won’t be able to deliver on all the items in the roadmap we released, but are still moving forward with Levvy Market. Due to not being able to separate Levvy & the TAS ecosystem, we can’t allocate funds at the moment to what we announced for SOC, so that will have to be pushed back for now. $SOC staking is now reenabled. We’ll tell you what that was going to be soon, but for now let’s focus on the following: For Levvy Market, what we’ll do now is still start out with 0 fees in our intro period, but now $SOC holders will vote on what platform fees should be. Of these fees, 50% will go to buy back $SOC and 50% will go to the team. As far as Levvy Points, we still want to do this with SOC, but don’t have the available $SOC to do so. We’re going to put a proposal in the DAO regarding possibly using DAO $SOC as the source to fund the points system with their $SOC holdings. With Levvy Points, holder of apes will receive point bonus multipliers based on their class. If the DAO approves, we’ll release more information on that. And that’s not where it stops for apes. In addition, once fees are implemented, we’re proposing doing a similar structure for Ape Holders. Upon DAO approval, all apes will receive permanent discounts on fees when shopping from the marketplace based on class. We believe this is the best past forward, but look forward to the discussion that follows this post. Even with this minor setback, we still have a strong ecosystem with the #1 NFT, the #1 Lending App, an incubator that next week is helping bring over one of the most hyped mints in some time (Lil Sappies), soon a top NFT marketplace, and more. $SOC will remain the headliner of LEVVY, apes will be prioritized, and TAS will rise again!
