Hot Take: DON'T MAKE 2V2 PERMANENT! It being permanent would eventually make the matchmaking unbearably long because ppl would prioritize 1v1 once the 2v2 hype is over. Make it a 2 week season every 2 months and add different stuff to switch the meta up (1 evo only card bans etc)
