@hasanthehun The left needs to be better at explaining socialism to a mainstream audience, as painful as that is. Socialism is not just "taxing the rich". Socialism is democratizing the economy and nationalizing industries. The wealth of the nation belongs to the people of the nation.

The left's major failure is being so sucked into reacting to the news cycle that we have stopped explaining our alternative system on the mainstream stage. Tell America what the left wants. Democratize the economy. Cleanse our government of the corrupt lap dogs of wall street.

Right wing politics have always been about designating in-groups and out-groups. They create a system of laws that protects the in-group but does not bind them, and binds the out-group but does not protect them. Any sense of equality under the law is a facade. #Alexpretti #ice
