@benjohns0nstan @EDuerrwaechter Yeah, but that goes for anywhere about any sport. It doesn’t need to be Chicago, nor all sports at once. It’s not better for some reason if Chicago teams are good vs. NYC teams vs. LA teams vs. Boston teams, etc. Those fans in those cities experience everything you described.

@The_Sooch @EDuerrwaechter No i mean rallying a city and getting people engaged in discussion about said sport. Getting people into hobbies and interests they otherwise wouldnt have had. I dont get why this is so difficult lol

If the Bulls’ hire of Bryson Graham pans out we might witness the single greatest renaissance in Chicago sports history. Seeing franchises like the Bears, Bulls, Cubs, White Sox, and (hopefully) Blackhawks reach the top simultaneously would be epic for sports in general.

@benjohns0nstan @EDuerrwaechter But why? Those are just mindless and clearly biased opinions that get recycled all over local sports media. Why would someone in Big Sky, MT or Santa Fe, NM with no connection to Chicago care about the size of the markets of the contending teams of the sports he’s consuming?

@The_Sooch @EDuerrwaechter Because Chicago is the third biggest market in the country and all of these teams contending at once would be awesome. Football is better when the bears are good. Baseball is better when the cubs are good. Basketball is better when the bulls are good

I don’t care about the moves the #Pelicans or #Hawks made while Bryson Graham worked there. It’s irrelevant. People credited Arturas Karnisovas with finding Nikola Jokic. It doesn’t matter. #Bulls

What concerns me most about this hire is not necessarily Graham’s abilities as that remains to be seen, but it’s the fact that, given his age and experience, this was likely the cheaper option for the Reinsdorf’s over someone like Matt Lloyd.

I wonder how Joe Cowley is gonna spin his inaccurate reporting. He essentially said it was Matt Lloyd with Micah Nori as Head Coach. Using some of the verbiage he used is a bit irresponsible considering the way it went.

Look, the Bulls needed a shake-up. I'm willing to see what going with someone like Bryson Graham can offer. My only real concern: Is there a reason why Matt Lloyd didn't want the job? If so ... that's scary.

@Thomas_hook I’m fine to move on. I’m just calling into question the definitiveness of the statement that that player doesn’t have friends on the team because of the color of the accessories he chose to wear in one game. Anonymous source or not.

@The_Sooch You’re the one that said I wouldn’t know the personal connections on the twins? Lol I didn’t bring that up randomly. What are we even talking about here? I don’t like the “flare”. You do. Let’s move on.

Let’s unify to stop the normalization of baseball players wearing colors that don’t match the uniforms. This is just a brutal look.

I get it you don’t really follow anything about the Bulls and just spew nonsense but the Bulls went outside “the family” for the last hire. Pretty lazy narrative here Nick. Also as far as the spending part. Bulls have always been over the cap and when you look at the money AK spend and draft capital traded in his second offseason… I’m not gonna keep explaining you’re an idiot man
Nick Friedell@NickFriedell

Good for the Bulls for trying something different. The question a lot of people across the league have now is: Will the organization spend to allow Graham to put together the best staff he can?
