Why is the Liberal Party in Australia gone? 1. They pandered to people that were never going to vote for them. 2. There is nothing stopping any one of these journalists from going fully independent. Journalists no longer need a major corporation in order to reach a huge audience. These people remain at the ABC, however, because they know they wouldn’t last five seconds in the real world.

I said teachers got a good wage. $79k day one. 12 weeks a year non attendance. Compare with a degree level military entry. A lieutenant. You enter on $60k and do a four year degree course in addition to learning military tactics, leadership, battlefield first aid, navigation, weapon systems, administration etc. $91k. 4 weeks leave. No overtime. Required to maintain fitness and availability to deploy. Accessed annually for performance.
