Imperfect, but here for God's Kingdom♥️

all the beating that nigerian parents beat their kids growing up, did it work? as a collective, do we behave like people who were well raised? this does not even require any sophisticated study, the answer is starring us in the face

Guys, please indulge me. ❤️ Let’s talk about good mothers-in-law for a change. I mean the ones who welcomed you like a princess the very first time you visited, and made you leave feeling like a queen. The ones who, even after settling in their family, never gave you a reason to regret marrying into their family. Let’s celebrate them today. We’ve heard enough about bad in-laws. 🥹❤️ I’ll go first. 👇🏼

I learnt my bad texting habits from unrequited feelings + talking stages. My nonchalance was forcefully learnt. I actually care a lot.

Things our mother didn’t tell us 1. First trimester wahala 2. First pee after childbirth 3. First poop after childbirth 4. Lochia discharge 😷 5. There is one stomach upset that happens too (not that serious though) 6. The part where your nipple is going to peel at first then heals back

My husband was begging me to stop crying, the make-up artist has retouched my face over and over just to hide the tear stains simply because my aunty was screaming and throwing fits that the camera man started the order of photography from the grooms family instead of the brides family.

Beautiful married people please indulge my curiosity. What did your husband/wife do that made you choose them?

Your mum singlehandedly raised you. When you got to university, you suddenly started looking for your father. Your grandma gave you a few details, you found him, and now you want to change your surname to his. Kò burú. 🤭

As a woman, if you don't respect yourself, no one would respect you, not even your husband.

Forget Twitter standards. Nothing beats marrying a genuinely kind person. They’ll love you not just at your best, but at your lowest too.

The name of Jesus has become a surprisingly sensitive topic among Christians.
