• Abolish the 38% deemed disposal tax on ETFs.
• Cut Capital Gains Tax from 33% back to 20%. (EU avg 18.6%).
• Introduce an ISA type investment scheme, similar to that in the UK.

Irish investors are being punished for doing the right thing. Invest in a simple ETF? The State slaps you with 38% tax after 8 years on gains you haven’t even realised. Tax on money you never received. It has to change.

Little life update:
I raised an incredible round for my startup and thought I’d skip college for good. Shortly after, I realized some chapters in life don’t come twice. Returned the money, taking a gap year, and going to college next fall. Grateful for my supportive investors.
