You can be a billionaire and still look broke next to Elon Musk. At $841B, his fortune towers so high it makes the rest of the world’s richest names feel small. This is the brutal gap at the very top of global wealth. Top 10 billionaires: 1. Elon Musk: $841B 2. Larry Page: $272B 3. Sergey Brin: $251B 4. Jeff Bezos: $244B 5. Mark Zuck: $229B 6. Larry Ellison: $190B 7. Bernard Arnault: $164B 8. Jensen Huang: $151B 9. Warren Buffett: $149B 10. Amancio Ortega: $147B

JMPD impounds 50 scholar vehicles as Dr Floyd Brink leads integrated bylaw crackdown The momentum of the City’s crackdown on unroadworthy scholar transportation continues to build, with the JMPD’s tally of impoundments now exceeding 50 vehicles. This decisive offensive represents a massive disruption of the lawlessness that has historically plagued municipal roads, serving as a key intervention to safeguard the City’s most vulnerable commuters. This morning, unsafe scholar transport vehicles were taken off the road and heavy fines issued, sending a clear message: profit will never come before public safety. #TheJoburgWeAllWant ^GZ

This is the guy who betrayed Maduro. The Venezuela acting president Delcy Rodriguez has terminate his service and arrested and charge with the following: • Accepting CIA bribes • Providing U.S special forces with president Maduro exact coordinate • Systematically disabling the anti craft defense protocols • The death of 32 security personnel assigned to Maduro Gen-javier Marcano Tabata was a close friend of Maduro. He grew up with Maduro, He was most trusted friend. For a bag of dollars, he sold the country & it's resources. Same same Story of Sankara and Blaise Compaore, Childhood friends, Grew up together, Took over govt together, Given the highest military honor and in charge of guarding Sankara. Then the eventually fucked him up. Friendship is overrated no one had ever been betrayed by an enemy, killed by an enemy, poisoned by an enemy, or even killed coming from a meeting with an enemy. Trust yourself only not even your spouse or parent or kid.

Former Cellucity employee ordered to pay over R50.6 million after embezzling R70 million A Western Cape High Court has ordered a former Cellucity employee to repay more than R50.68 million after it emerged she had misappropriated at least R70 million of the telecoms company’s funds over an eight‑year period. The employee, Sharlene Phillipson‑Garcia, who served the mobile company for about 16 years and latterly worked as assistant to the finance manager, resigned abruptly in July 2024 after being confronted with suspicious accounting entries linked to her duties. An urgent internal investigation revealed that between May 2016 and shortly before her resignation she had siphoned off more than R70 million through falsified transactions. She did not contest the basic theft allegations. Initially, Cellucity identified roughly R10.1 million in misused funds, prompting a court order to freeze bank accounts and prevent the disposal of nine immovable properties. As deeper probing unfolded, it became clear the scope of the embezzlement was far larger, leading Cellucity to pursue the balance. Phillipson‑Garcia argued the company couldn’t sue again after the first judgment, but Acting Judge Gavin Cooper ruled that each illicit act constituted its own cause of action, allowing the additional claim. Court papers show she channelled stolen funds through her own company, Basic Blue Trading 450 (Pty) Ltd, and into several family‑controlled businesses, including ones owned by her daughter and niece raising questions over whether these were used to conceal and launder the proceeds. The court ordered Phillipson‑Garcia and her company to pay Cellucity over R50.68 million plus interest and attorney‑and‑client costs. Further oral evidence will be heard later in 2026 to resolve disputed issues, including whether approximately R9.15 million of the funds were used to pay genuine Cellucity creditors. The case has underscored vulnerabilities in corporate financial controls and triggered calls for tighter oversight in employee access to accounting systems.

On 11 February 2020, a badly burnt body of an unknown woman was found dumped in a drain near the Azania informal settlement in Kayamandi, Stellenbosch. The unidentified deceased body was grossly charred, so much so that it could only be identified with what remained of the black top she wore on that fateful day.
