@guysiamserious @HI_Encore Granted it’s my fault because it interacted with your post. But my goodness are you downplaying jin. He is not weaker than any character you named. Ewgf and qcb1 is comparable. They give the same utility, hard to step, launcher, + on block.

@The_trueoracle @HI_Encore no this is not necessarily the case each character is different there are even safe on parry HOMING moves (on characters like Steve for example) some characters liked eddy are almost always airborn so 2 4 is typically a better launching method than can can against him

@guysiamserious @HI_Encore Steve recovers fast on the majority of his stuff which is a design flaw in my opinion. However these are outliers. Thats not the majority. You parry asuka f2, cancan. You parry lee b4, cancan. There are too many moves too name.

@guysiamserious @HI_Encore Jin breaks the mold of tekken. He has availability to Mishima electrics. While also being able To poke. Not to mention he has availability high and mid version. Both lead to insane damage. His Heat smash is busted, wall splats from a mile away

@The_trueoracle @HI_Encore the best moves in tekken have always been Jab strings and the best of those has always been flash punch combo, right now I would say the best move in the game is probably Bryan’s qcb1 just because how game breaking it is

@The_trueoracle @HI_Encore because Jins uf2 and his parry are inherently reactive tools with very a specific purposes his uf2 only evades linear moves and is the worst move of its kind in the game it is not like Jun or Asuka mashing out unsafe moves so they bait out an auto parry or crushing mids

@guysiamserious @HI_Encore Reactive tool? Let’s be real you’re done playing insanely. It’s not a reactive tool. A reactive tool is 2,4. You’re reacting to - frames to punish, Reacting to a whiff. A reactive tool is not something you can mash to avoid pressure when you don’t know the next

@guysiamserious @HI_Encore You would punish a quick poke with 2,4 sure. Any thing outside of that will be punished with cancan. We can’t pretend everyone is playing small tekken the majority of the match.

@The_trueoracle @HI_Encore no cancan does not punish a majority of things you parry most of the time, 2 4 is the most reliable option, and sometimes there several moves that are straight up safe on parry

@guysiamserious @HI_Encore Sounds like poor placement. And Ewgf has always been the best move in the game. It’s a chance at a free launcher, plus on block. Nearly impossible to punish on whiff. Also jin is scary up close when it comes to his pokes. Especially with the inclusion of his frames
