I honestly didn’t realise how much people love and support our president. I have never seen this level of support for Cyril before. People are genuinely worried about the consequences of him resigning because, at this moment, many see him as the only source of stability and hope. Imagine Cyril leaving and the country being left in the hands of MK and EFF — no, never. I’m glad he listened to the calls not to resign. Whether people like it or not, many South Africans recognise the work he has done under very difficult circumstances, and that is why so many are standing firmly behind him.

🚨BREAKING: Hugo Broos is negotiating with SAFA to remain as Bafana Bafana coach in what appears to be a change of mind after indicating that he will leave when his contract expires. SAFA Technical Committee are insisting that he must join other coaches and apply again if want to remain as Bafana coach because they had already advertised the post after he stated that he will retire after the World Cup.
