The devil is a liar, a trickster, and a deceiver. His #1 weapon is P.R.I.D.E. Pride is the worst liar in the world. We lie to ourselves first. The first lie we tell ourselves is that we are okay. BUT His #2 weapon is guilt! If he can get us bogged down in guilt he has neutralized us! Confess. Learn the lesson, but other than that - forget. God has. Weirdly, getting wrapped up in guilt is a negative form of pride. At its base, it is: ~I could have done better. ~I should do better. ~I WILL do better! No.you.won't. Stop the self-absorption. Lose yourself. Put your eyes on Jesus and yield. Pray and study - especially when you don't feel like it. And God will make you the best version of YOU. 🫶
