@karappuru I believe the allegations made against Valko violate a law made for protecting women's safety, autonomy and is against things like SA. They made a narrative to smear Valkos debut so having him released is harder. It's the same tactic they allegedly used with the 0731 number.

@karappuru A CN player I've spoken with confirmed this for me. They said the ppl who have an issue with Valko are spreading lies and stirring up drama to try and force Infold into doing whatever they want. The lies were so serious that a women's protection system had to step in and check.

Since not everybody can see what’s happening on Weibo, I’d like to share some screenshots 💚 Hopefully this can cheer some people up. 1. Under Infold’s most recent post, most of the top hot comments are all in support of Valko! 2. In the Love and Deepspace official hot topic community where there are over 4.5million members; almost every single hot post at the moment is about Valko and how we want him back. 3. Many users have started to show their support by attaching pictures of their in-game spending; some of which goes as high as 144,000+ USD to show that they are all long-time real players and not paid bots as many haters are claiming. There are certainly still many hateful comments about Valko and about the people who wants him to be brought back, but the positive is the majority right now and we can all see it. Many many CN players also know of the immense support Global players are showcasing and everything that we’re trying to do. @NakiVT @Mayumayuchin0 I won't even lie. the sources I have for info are minimal and trying to communicate on XHS is hard, most people are using real life cases to advocate against Valko. I'm trying to get all sides to share their thoughts so we can better spot the issues and resolve them.

🚨UPDATE: The narrative surrounding Valko’s cancellation in Love and Deepspace has shifted. According to players, both the Chinese and global communities are now protesting Valko’s removal after claims that much of the original backlash stemmed from a coordinated misinformation campaign. The reports also state that those behind the campaign have since admitted to it, prompting renewed calls for Infold to reconsider the decision.

@caikyabetsu @AniRave Would you be willing to provide a link or a screenshot of the statement? The EN account has not come forward with a statement and I believe many players would appreciate some light shed on the situation.

@Thecupid_killer @AniRave 现在中国的政府和官方媒体正在对这件事进行调查中，有了结果应该会给所有人一个说法。我认为会有一些修改，但是新角色应该会依旧被取消。就像他说的，这个角色的设计是半成品，并不精良。而且他也保证不推出新角色了。所以应该对喜欢他的玩家来说会是个很遗憾的结果。

@caikyabetsu @AniRave Current conversations have implied that Infolds lightest punishment could be a hiatus and a change in management but if the highest punishment were dolled out then otome games a a whole may get removed.

@Thecupid_killer @AniRave 这个问题具体如何应该交给我们的政府去判断，中国政府已经开始调查这件事，我们中国玩家的观点是现在不对这件事发表任何判断，因为我们没有权利。中国政府不会对红线问题心慈手软。我们只等待国家的审查结果，我认为这才是最合理的。

@caikyabetsu @AniRave Its being speculated that if a judgement is passed by the government then Infold, Love and Deepspace and otome games as a whole may be removed from china. I've tried looking through XHS for validity in these claims. Would you please offer your take on this?

@caikyabetsu @AniRave From an outsiders stance, Valkos release was like planned from the beginning. It was poor implementation that caused the issue. The was always speculation about a 6th Li, and its possible that Infold might have been naïve with how they went about his debut.

@caikyabetsu @AniRave I do understand. I've seen people express frustration because they feel the money that's gone into the game isnt going to the Li's they want to further develop. I may be wrong but creating a character whose meant to be so useful to the story likely isn't a last minute decision.
