“Several teams” attempted to trade up for Utah OT Caleb Lomu before the #Patriots ultimately traded up 3 spots to get him, per @dpbrugler. Eliot Wolf said during his press conference that he did not believe Lomu would still be available. New England’s aggressiveness paid off.

@wrldofmayee We drafted a couple of needs and mostly experimental/development depth pieces. Never took BPA. We're clearly relying on our current team to get us back and that's not good. We didn't build, just move laterally.

@Patriots @CoachVrabel50 and Elliot Wolf would have to block me if we draft an OT 3 years in a row and Koi Perich is still on the board. 😤
