Scott Boras (Anthony Rendon’s agent) said that Rendon got further imaging on his own when he was still feeling discomfort. Boras said his understanding is the treatment is the same for either a fracture or a bone bruise.

Why is David Fletcher stuck in AAA? • He’s hitting .252/.310/.322 with a .631 OPS and 54 wRC+ since his demotion in July. • The Angels don’t want him to reach more than 5 years of service time (he’s 25 days short) because that allows him to elect free agency & still get paid.

@Patrick_ONeal We will see how money motivates him or not when he signs his next contract. @Angels lost an incredible opportunity to advance the talent base of this organization. The business of baseball is not easy but the tough decisions need to be made or we are destined for the same.

Shohei Ohtani will continue to DH because he can. Did it in 2018 and raked and then had TJ. I have total belief he will come back and be a 2 way superstar in a couple years. Does he get less money in FA? Maybe, but he’s not motivated by money. Never has been. #GoHalos
