Now they're claiming the moves by Trump in the Mideast were part of a major strategy to force the US to abandon its position there that was always unpopular both at home and in the region.
Here's the problem:
Trump is clearly committed to this course of action against Iran because he, at least in part, believes it will reassert US dominance in the region. You don't bother reasserting dominance if you're really interested in bailing out of a region. You just bail without all the headache.
The Trust the Plan-ers are the craziest loons out of all the crazies.

China has 3 aircraft carriers and 2 of those are ass.
Chinese air defenses are probably not all that.
Their subsurface fleet is decent, maybe.
More importantly all their industries lay within range of US sea, air and missile forces. A fight for Taiwan is serious business.
