@cyrilXBT so beautiful, this could help research so many things, i genuinely feel how our brain processes data and works is more similar to this than we currently think

SOMEONE JUST GAVE 2 AI AGENTS A SHARED WORLD.
But each one can only see HALF of it.
Their only way to communicate.
7x7 pixel glyphs.
49 pixels.
That is it.
No words. No language. No shared rules.
Just two agents staring at half a world trying to make the other one understand what they see.
And something extraordinary happened.
They started INVENTING symbols.
Building theories about what the symbols mean.
Evaluating their own writing to see if it worked.
No human taught them this.
No convergence yet.
But the fact that they are developing a system of meaning completely on their own from 49 pixels is one of the most fascinating things I have seen in AI research.
This is not AI using language.
This is AI CREATING language.
From nothing.
And the question nobody has an answer to yet is whether what they are building actually means something to them.
Or whether meaning itself is just a pattern that emerges when two minds need to understand each other badly enough.
Think about that.
