This photo was taken a long time ago… in a galaxy far, far away. It’s @CatheLaurie and me in the 1970s during the days of what many now call the Jesus Revolution. I was about 22 years old and Cathe was 19. Life was simple, faith was fresh, and God was doing something remarkable among young people across the country. This particular photo meant a lot to our son Christopher. For many years it sat on his desk. Christopher has been in Heaven now for 16 years, but seeing this picture always brings back so many memories. When I look at it, I think of the words of Scripture: “Once I was young, and now I am old…” (Psalm 37:25). Time has a way of moving quickly, doesn’t it?
