@iam_johnw Regular season doesn't win championships. Brunson clearly doesn't play as hard until when it matters. 4th quarters and playoffs. And he's been the best of those situations in the past 4 years.

@TheTyJager As a Knicks fan I'd love to play against him in every championship possible. Easy wins. He has big weaknesses and flaws that were exposed. He's impressive in some areas but not a winner. No one's scared of him. He's a loser.

@BigRacksRuss @PaulGelb The scoreboard might say they're leading, but in those minutes is when the Knicks are out-scoring them and dominating in the game to come back and win. They were getting dominated for probably at least 120 of the 170 minutes it says they were "leading"

The narrative that the Spurs dominated the Knicks for most of the series is mathematically offensive. It is wild how many sports reporters have repeated this.

@PaulGelb Exactly. For probably 150 of those "minutes leading" on the scoreboard, they are getting dominated in the game as the Knicks are going on 12-0, 10-2, 24-8, type runs to come back and ultimately win

@EricSal_7 Literally only because Brunson got called for one the game before while further away. Also this is in slow motion but he ran up to that shot so his momentum was forward. Understand the context. STFU

I’ve never seen shooters land like this until this recent era. This landing far from normal. Yet you have dumb cancel culture and soft fans out in full force calling Vic a dirty player using this as evidence. Manipulating rules by hunting feet when shooting should be banned from the league.

@HoosCards @ScottKacsmar Carried is crazy. He had more points than anyone and big 3s and huge buckets in the last 5 minutes of every game to cut leads or take leads. OG had some clutch ones and the biggest one but didn't carry. Did you watch the game?

Shaking your opponent’s hand doesn’t mean you“respect” them. It’s a formality.. and it’s meant for 4th grade kids. This is professional sports. We have to stop with these rules that have never existed.

@SpursCulture You're in reverse giving him more credit than you realize. We saw him tweak it twice and he still played through it and cooked your bum spurs on a twisted ankle plus a dead leg from the game 1 hit. He was far from 100% but he's that mentally tough to work through the pain
