something i feel like people should understand is that glitch isnt an indie studio anymore no matter how much they try to say they are. If glitch owns the copyrights to shows that are made, instead of the show's creators, then by definition, they aren't indie anymore.

Isnt the whole point of "fighting against racism" hoping that people will grow out of their prejudice? Yes racism can expire, thats literally the preferred outcome.
