@Theo71627 True. I think the position will become even more important in the coming years since we have guys like these now. Especially if more foreigners keep coming in.

Might be stating the obvious here but I think having a superstar center is worth AT LEAST 3x more than a superstar at any other position. SF at 2.

@DaughtryMom05 10000 percent. They’re the most rare so it’s the most valuable if you have one. But only the best of the best. Anything below that is much less valuable

@Theo71627 Yeah well the all-around superstar trumps everything. I guess the rarity of a 1st option center is what makes them so special. Cause when Shaq came into the league I think he changed the way people think of a center’s role and abilities. Hakeem too

@DaughtryMom05 I guess to your point. The 2 most valuable assets in the nba rn are both bigs. So I agree. It’s just very lonely at the top for them because it’s a long way down til the next one

@DaughtryMom05 Like the other all star type centers in the nba are all complimentary robin type of players and I wouldn’t trust them to do it as the best player. So for me it’s hard to put that out there. I’d rather a Giannis, Kawhi, curry, KD type of player. More consistent and can carry

@DaughtryMom05 Depends how good they are. Jokic and the nuggets are the only superstar center led team that’s had any real success in the playoffs for years. In theory like ya Jokic is the best asset in the nba but he’s 1 of 1. Wemby will remedy this a bit but also he’s a 1 of 1 alien
