I find it amusing at just how much hatred there is towards France, because when you think about it, they ought to be the allies MAGA pretends they want: 1) they have and fund their own military, including their own nuclear weapons and defence industry/ production. 2) they share intel with the U.S. 3) they don’t have American bases on their soil that are supposedly draining the American taxpayer. 4) they opposed the war in Iraq, which is something that JD Vance - they current sitting Vice President of the United States of America said that ALL Europeans should have done. So what’s the problem?

Ça fait bientôt 10 ans qu'un type, un professeur de collège français, créateur d'un blog parodique appelé "Le Ouest Franc", a décidé que sa mission dans la vie, c'était de me bousiller, par fois les moyens. Novembre 2016, premier message. Depuis... il ne s'est jamais arrêté. Jamais. J'ai besoin de 5000€ pour continuer à me battre en justice. En 10 ans, ce type a : - Contacté systématiquement chaque événement, école, lieu de conférence, chaque festival en France et en Belgique où j'étais invité, pour me faire désinviter. Et ça a marché quelques fois et même si à force les gens s’en foutent de ses messages, c’est à chaque fois une épée de Damoclès, une boule au ventre que de savoir que je vais ENCORE devoir expliquer toute l’histoire. A force je ne communique même plus sur les endroits où je me rends, ici je vous écris depuis le train pour Paris pour parler à un événement majeur, et je n’ai pas osé en parler, puisqu’il VA ECRIRE à toute personne de près ou de loin liée à l’événement, il a déjà par le passé écrit à tous les sponsors, privés comme public des Rencontres de L’esprit critique par exemple. Lorsque je me suis rendu au Conseil de L'europe l'an passé pour un événement européen sur l'éducation aux médias, le type a écrit à tous les reponsables du parlement dans les 30 min après ma publication Facebook. - Usurpé l'identité d'un chercheur spécialisé en fact-checking pour écrire à un événement universitaire et obtenir mon exclusion. Depuis le PC de son propre collège. (C'est d'ailleurs comme ça que la police l'a identifié... Son collège a été plus coopératif que Twitter ou Wikipedia, c'est dire.) Tout ça est documenté, il y a eu un travail de police. La justice n’en a pas tenu compte puisque “vice de procédure”, j'y viens après. - Rédigé 48% de ma page Wikipedia sous pseudo, en y injectant de la diffamation, des accusations de complotisme, d'antisémitisme, de banalisation de la Shoah… - Ecris à des tas de journalistes pour se faire passer pour des profs qui m’auraient vu dire des horreurs dans des écoles devant des enfants. - Créé des dizaines de comptes pour continuer quand il se faisait bannir (et il a même annoncé publiquement qu'il recréerait des comptes sous d'autres noms, voir posts en bas) - Contacté le Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et son pendant belge pour me faire blacklister des écoles françaises et réussissant à piéger un couillon de fonctionnaire qui a envoyé un mail à tous les profs de France et de manière similaire en Belgique pour dire que j’étais un dangereux personnage. Résultat je vais toujours dans les écoles en Belgique comme en France évidemment, mais ça colle à la peau tout de même puisque c'est repris comme un narratif officiel "Flibustier est banni des écoles". Il a ainsi créé un véritable cycle de blanchiment de l’information en: - Contactant des journalistes - Produisant du fake dans des articles en les piégeant. - Produisant les articles en sources sur Wikipedia - Poussant des gens à communiquer officiellement contre moi sur base des infos sur Wikipedia - Utilisant ces gens (Ministère) ayant communiqué (sans avoir jamais vu mon travail) comme une preuve que je suis une personne horrible. Le fond ? Quelques blagues douteuses sur Nordpresse entre 2014 et 2018. - Ciblé ma famille en faisant des tonnes d’insinuations sur mon père, depuis décédé. - Posté quasi quotidiennement pendant des années sur ma tronche. En 2019, j'étais au plus bas. Vraiment. Le genre de plus bas dont on ne parle pas facilement. J'ai fini par porter plainte avec constitution de partie civile en 2022. Et là... bienvenue dans le droit français. Ma plainte pour harcèlement a été déclarée irrecevable. Pourquoi ? Parce que je n'avais pas de certificat médical prouvant l'impact sur ma santé. 10 ans de stalking, de diffamation quotidienne, de sabotage professionnel... mais sans papier du médecin, pas de préjudice. Logique. J’avais en fait eu un arrêt d’un mois en 2019, mais le psychiatre en question n’étant plus en exercice depuis, impossible d’avoir une preuve écrite. (En gros dans le droit français, pour le harcèlement, c'est à la victime de prouver qu'elle souffre. Faut quasi y passer pour que ça compte...) Restait la diffamation. Et là, le procès a eu lieu, il a été mis en examen, la police a fait un boulot formidable pour identifier ses comptes et ses posts. Mais la quasi-totalité des plateformes - Twitter, Wikipedia, toutes - ont refusé de communiquer l'identité de leurs utilisateurs sur requête judiciaire. On n'a donc pu prouver que ce qu'il a avoué lui même, la majorité des faits, mais qu’il considère être un travail de lanceur d’alerte. Il y a eu une erreur de la justice qui n’a pas été surveillée par mon avocat: Ils n’ont pas mis en place d’audiences relai, ça veut dire qu’en cas de diffamation, la prescription étant de 3 mois s’il n’y a pas d’acte de procédure tous les 3 mois (une banalité administrative en gros), la prescription est actée. Maxime F. a donc été relaxé pour nullité de la procédure ET je suis condamné à lui verser 3200€ d’indemnités. Aujourd'hui, j'ai besoin de 5 000 € pour continuer à me battre. Ca me rend malade de payer un centime à un type qui a voulu détruire ma vie pendant 10 ans. Je préfère aller en appel, en cassation, et s'il le faut jusqu'à la CEDH. Mais seul, financièrement, c'est pas possible. Si vous pouvez, merci, du fond du coeur. Si vous pouvez pas, un partage c'est déjà énorme. Pour tous les contributeurs, j'offre un accès à vie à ma plateforme de cours en ligne que je suis en train de créer qui va permettre de se former aux questions d'IA, Fake News et Réseaux sociaux. I worry about the American economy not so much because recessions are inherently catastrophic, but because so much of America’s entire national identity is wrapped in material prosperity. Let me tell you what happens when a society accustomed to poverty experiences economic collapse. Then you can extrapolate what happens when it strikes a society that believes itself exceptional. In the late 1990s, Bulgaria’s economy imploded and hyperinflation devoured everything. At its peak, 1 USD bought 4,000 leva. When they pegged the currency to the Deutsche Mark and removed three zeros off the banknotes, every person’s life savings evaporated overnight. I was little, but I still remember the scarcity, the fear, the chaos in adults’ faces. An entire generation still carries that trauma. They won’t touch stocks or bonds. Hard assets only - real estate, gold, things you can see and hold. The distrust runs bone-deep. I know men - friends’ fathers - who never recovered psychologically. Capable men, reduced to paralysis and depression for years. It was Balkan women, God bless them, who held everything together, working multiple jobs while their husbands sat broken in kitchens, drinking, chain smoking and staring at walls. It was a horror show. This was a nation of people already poor. People whose grandparents lived through wars and communist scarcity. People with cultural antibodies to suffering and destitution. Now imagine this happening to Americans. A society where identity itself - American exceptionalism, the American Dream, the entire self-conception of who they are - is inseparable from material abundance. Where prosperity isn’t just an economic condition but a quasi-religious belief. Where three generations have never known anything but upward mobility and endless credit. What happens if/when that breaks? That’s what I’m worried about.
