I’ve heard enough. The divide in quality between the young men who say “you can just do things” and those who say “it’s so over” is too stark. The latter is simply not going to make it. They became adults and were dead on arrival. It is not worth trying to convince them they still have a shot. My time and platform is better spent aggressively boosting the young men who have decided to BUILD SOMETHING GOOD IN OUR WOUNDED WORLD! Take Owen for instance. This goofy bastard apparently missed the memo that the world sucks and it’s not worth trying to get a wife or own a home. He instead decided to do those things, and just become a jeweler, allowing his faith to inform his craft. He is already winning. In five years he’ll be in a place of unfathomable success.
