No 2nd term for this failed Nigerian President
Nigeria Stories@NigeriaStories
“My Enemies Want To Use Insecurity In The Country To Get Rid Of Me, But I’m a Stubborn Politician Who Refuses To Go and I will campaign for my second term” ~ President Bola Tinubu says
English

@magattew It’s definitely not about IQ nor laziness
1. No self actualization
2. No delay gratification
3. We only apply logic to things only when there’s gain or money involved. E.g. I have cousins that come 1hour late to family meetings always but never ever go late to money appointments
English

I've spent my whole life trying to understand why Africa is the poorest region in the world.
Low IQ. Malnutrition. Lack of education. Colonialism. Racism. Laziness.
I've heard every explanation. None of them made sense.
If it’s colonialism, why was Ethiopia (never colonized) for a long time the poster child for African poverty?
Why was Botswana, which was colonized, one of the best performers in Africa? And why is Singapore richer than its former colonizer?
If it's lack of education, why are half of African university graduates unemployed? Why were math degrees from Eswatini raising chickens before we hired them to teach at our virtual school?
The real answer is something nobody wants to talk about:

@Danjay_P7 @Morris_Monye @Danjay_P7 you don’t lose doing the right thing. I know that Nigeria politicians are devils but there are kind of number of votes you will get that Lucifer will advise them not to dare. Just see it this way

Morris Sir,
If at this point we still believe that pvc can unseat Tinubu then we are truly not ready…
Nigerians won the election in 2023… we came out enmass… I particularly left home around 7am and returned the following day around 4am…
We won at polling units, we won everywhere but the Nigerian magic happens…
PVC cannot unseat the APC…

@asemota This is true. I have a paid AI account that I shared with my friends. We have access to the same tool, yet what I can accomplish with it is not what the other 3 guys can easily achieve on the same or similar tasks, unless I come on Zoom & walk them thru the process I used.
English

I have probably shared the first image half a dozen times here and the reason I do so is that it is profoundly true. I was trying to do something with AI in the last couple of days and realized how severely limited it was when it came to creativity.
AI is stolen knowledge but you still have to be a great artist to be able to use accumulated creativity and stolen ideas well. What is missing in AI is the spark that is within all of us. We can make something from nothing but AI needs something to give us more in a new way.
I am reading the second book all over again as I hit the limitations of LLMs. Something that came up to my mind yesterday was that the compounding function of AI can only be useful to us when we freely share our creations from it to get new standards.
This was what the Open Source movement did for tech and why we made great progress. Siloed development can only bring temporary advantage and more attrition.

I like how #Claude keeps adding new features & making AI more advanced every day. As these systems become more complex & involve humans in the loop, they may create new types of employers that design, control, audit, integrate & manage AI systems rather than just replacing jobs
English

Many people on this app are ignoran!. Every time you open X, you hear #Iran is winning, while nightly their capabilities and ammunition are destroyed by US-Israel strikes. Have they never watched GOT, where the side destroying the other’s capabilities wins in the long run?
English

@CAF_Media @victorsomoye Article 84 refers to the team, not all the Senegal players who left that day. So what exactly are you interpreting?
English

The CAF Appeal Board decided that in application of Article 84 of the Regulations of the CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), the Senegal National Team is declared to have forfeited the Final Match of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 (“the Match”), with the result of the Match being recorded as 3–0 in favour of the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football (FRMF).
