June 2024 was my very first time boarding an airplane and my first time being to airport. I was invited for an event in Abuja, the organizers booked my flight ticket for me. So, I arrived at Ibadan airport early in the morning, without any clue about the boarding process and what to do next. I felt like everyone was looking at me as I stood there confused, so a security officer noticed me and guided me through the checks and procedures. When I finally got into the plane and took my seat, my heart was beating fast. I was sweating serously and very nervous. When the plane started speeding on runway for takeoff, that was when panic really hit. I squeezed my eyes shut and I just grabbed the hand of the person sitting next to me. The moment the plane lifted off the ground, I couldn’t hold it, I just screamed “MO KÚ OOO!!” 😭 (I'm dead) Everybody in the plane just burst into laughter, including the children and the flight attendants that were straight face. I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me. When we finally landed in Abuja and were disembarking, People were looking at me and they were laughing as we walked through the airport. I was so embarrassed, I almost enter ground.🤣😂😂

If you are staying for more than two days, contribute to a bill in the house. You can buy water or something else useful. 3. Don’t overstay your welcome. Know when to leave. If you are not very close, a few hours is enough. The exception is if you are close friends and they clearly want you around. 4. Always tell the person you are visiting that you are coming with someone, just don’t show up with someone, it’s disrespectful and annoying. 5. Always buy something along with you to give to them. Might be bread or fruits. 6. If the floor is tiled wear your footwear, if it's with a carpet, take it off. 7. Don’t change the Tv station. 8. “You can come if you want” is often a polite way of saying they don’t really want you around. Respect yourself and stay home. 9. If you’ve stayed for a while and they suddenly want to go out, take it as your cue to leave. Don’t say you’ll wait for them. Again, know when to leave. 10. Feel at home means sit comfortably, nothing more, nothing less. 11. Never ask for food. Let the offer come to you.

When I visited her, initially we were chilling in the parlour with her sister, at some point we got bored so they decided to go into their room nd asked that I come with them, ofcourse it was only us at home so I agreed. We stayed in there nd didn't even realize when their mum came bck, she walked straight into that room, you wouldn't believe what happened next.....
