Slow menus and small issues aside I’ve had a great time with mlb the show this year.

@thuuuuney Great idea! I feel like the only issue is 15 initial games is a lot. I genuinely like maddens style of a few games in a row then your “Super Bowl” even something similar in MLB would intrigue me more than current ranked

MLB The Show does a terrific job providing opportunities for unique experiences for offline players Meanwhile online players are playing a Ranked mode that’s extremely outdated, BR mode that’s gotten easier AND stripped stubs away, and is an area to be addressed.

I wish we could import images in to MLB The shows logo vault. I could easily design some cool stuff on design software but I am NOT sitting there making a logo from scratch with their in game design tool 🥀

@therealgatsbii Shrinkage and punishing exit velo on this specific pitch but not consistently doing it when it’s actually necessary is why the game just needs a fix.

Why do we think pitching is struggling in mlb the show?

So shrinkage is still in the game in mlb the show 26 on sliders away with swing timing other than good? I get penalizing bad timing 100%, but when you only do it on sliders away we are going to be right back in to the switch meta in no time.

I been looking for a reason on this for awhile, just a weird mechanic to only include for one pitch, sometimes early swings can be a homerun with no shrink, but throw a slider, in the zone and shrinkage? weirdly inconsistent to me

@ThereGoBigDev @AnthonyHisSelf @Treadztv2 Shrinkage still happens on very early and late swings by the way. That’s intentional. Shrinkage doesn’t occur on good timing.

So we’re all under agreement that the Blur effect in MLB the Show causes input lag right? It looks great but I’m late on EVERYTHING

Some good early fixes for MLB The Show 26. Menus look like they’re getting a fix hopefully smoother and some other small quality of life tweaks.

After some thought I myself am not particularly MAD at the investment and buy order nerf. I personally never did it much anyways. But it’s just the culmination of both the buy order nerf and then taking away the cap on buy now price that just feels so scummy.

SDS really needs to revert their decision to remove the cap on cards OR revert the 20 buy order change…one or the other but doing both things is really a slap in the face to you loyal fan base. @MLBTheShow

MLB the show 26 thoughts: Positives: Gameplay feels smooth, PCI sens is amazing so is the blur feature and the content is extraordinary. Negatives: PCI shrinkage still is happening even if not intended, max 20 buy orders per card is a massive L, menu UI is atrocious

Menus are the worse they’ve ever been in mlb the show 26. Horrendous
