I’ve paid over $500k in property taxes the past 8 years.
In most places that amount would buy a nice house.
Or millions in future value in the S&P.
Would you sell and move to a cheaper place?
My 2026 prop tax bill ⤵️
I like to imagine a future where the CIA sits on the fact they invented Bitcoin until one BTC is worth $100,000,000, at which point they sell Satoshi’s stash ($110T) to clear out the national debt and cement their place in history as the greatest deep state known to man
Canadian investors: our bank stocks had a great day. The bank index up 1.55% $TXBA.TS
Bank of Canada held rates steady at 2.25% and the market is reacting positively to this.
I have over $1M of these bank stocks so my portfolios had a very nice day.

I'm trying to start a position in $TD.TO or $CNR.TO, but it feels painful right now.
Both are near their highs. Valuations aren't cheap.
But great businesses rarely go on sale for long.
Are you buying anyway or waiting for a pullback?
