Labour isn't working. Kemi and @Helen_Whately right to call out anti-jobs measures Labour have introduced in last two years and are running out of time to turn this around.
Kemi Badenoch@KemiBadenoch

Labour entered government and ⬇️hiked employers National Insurance ⬇️hiked the minimum wage ⬇️loaded new regulations on businesses The result? Employers stopped hiring young people. @Conservatives will listen to business, back more apprenticeships and reduce tax and red tape.

Awaiting the Milburn Review publication and let's hope it lives up to the hype as @ONS reports NEETS now estimated over a million. Labour Govt need to get a grip on the detail, U-turn rapidly on jobs burdens and the disincentives to work they have introduced in the last two years

One of the reasons given for benefit fraud rising to £9.9bn is a lie. @DWPgovuk please correct this.

In trying to justify the increase in benefits fraud up to £9.9bn, one of the reasons cited is a lie. I hope @DWPgovuk will correct this quickly

No advance notice but within a few minutes, word spreads and the King brings Golders Green to a jubilant standstill - just yards from the scene of the April 28 attack. #kc3 #goldersgreen

A great success by Helen Whately, through detailed Parliamentary scrutiny, to keep the government’s paws off our pensions.
Helen Whately MP@Helen_Whately

Rachel Reeves wanted unfettered control over where your pension is invested. We cut her power grab off at the knees and forced another U-turn. Mandation is a vestige of its former self. But @conservatives know it's wrong in principle. Pensions belong to savers, not ministers.

As admin, I get the unique opportunity to shine a light on this club when times are good, and to stand firm on mornings like this, when the overriding feelings are pain and pride. After the departure of the incredible Boards and Crumpy, the loss of 50+ goals and assists in Wozza to Bolton (and it was brilliant to see him here last night supporting us), and a summer full of change, who could have imagined we would witness a season like the one we’ve just had? Stuart and Jack Ainsley stepped in at the club’s hour of need and built another team that we can all be immensely proud of. Ninety-seven points and another cup final, simply breathtaking. And although it wasn’t enough to pip our friends down the A12 to the title, it was more than enough to further galvanise this football club. Football is all about people, and in that respect no one is more fortunate than us. This management team and staff, and this group of players, have strengthened even further the bond this local community feels with its club. I’m privileged to see all sides of it. As a supporter myself, alongside my roles at the club, I can honestly say the feeling towards this group is something unique in the game. We are a special club. And while we ignore the trolls this morning revelling in our disappointment, we will focus on those who really matter. The team, who will be devastated. Our wonderful staff. Our incredible volunteers. Our sponsors, who help make all of this possible. And our supporters, the best we could ever wish for. Thank you all for a memorable season. We’ll be back, stronger than ever, if we continue to harness the spirit, commitment, love, and community that make this club so special. Enjoy your summer, everyone. The fixtures will be out soon! A reminder of what many MPs were saying when the Bill left the Commons. This was why the work of the Lords was so important, and the stubborn refusal of the sponsors to deal with concerns so reckless.

Speech of the day from former attorney general Baroness Prentis, who is undergoing chemotherapy: “When I’ve been waiting, literally on the floor, having fainted, of a less than perfectly clean NHS corridor, I have had a vision in my head of crisp white sheets and certainty that would come from knowing you were instantly going to die. “For me, and I suspect for most vulnerable people, that vision passes and life becomes worth living and good again. But I don’t think we should deny for one minute that that vision is briefly an attractive one. “My Lords, we owe the dying better than this bill.”

Do you trust the Government to decide where your pension gets invested? I don't. That's why I stood up for savers in #Parliament again today against Pensions Mandation.

The public does not support Kim Leadbeater’s assisted suicide Bill, and does not wish it to be forced through without the Lords’ consent, new polling has revealed.😲 Read the story here: righttolife.org.uk/dpde

Ministers tried to force mandation through AGAIN. Thanks to the Lords they failed. No government should have control over where your pension gets invested.
