Don't be ashamed of your hustle. what do you do for a living? Someone might need your service this week.

What small win did you achieve in Q1?

I was watching a Nollywood Movie.... There's a CHRONIC gambler who has lost EVERYTHING to gambling and he's in massive debt to a loan shark who is THREATENING HIS LIFE and his mom's life. Ladies and gentlemen of the Press, this chronic gambler still has a CAR he drives around. These are the issues. The movie is in the cinemas

Who else wants this to drop soon?

You’re not a film critic; rather, you’re a Nollywood enthusiast who enjoys reviewing movies as a hobby. Sitting behind your pc to share your personal opinions after watching a film is different from being a trained critic. 😊

I’m tired of seeing people critic Nollywoodwith so much confidence and little understanding. A real critic engages intent, context, and language they ask why before dismissing. If all you do is projecting expectations. that’s not critique, it’s impatience dressed up as insight.

I personally feel like some of these refurbished old Nollywood movies showing in cinemas are unnecessary. Gbogbo return of kinikan is needless. it’s better to create something fresh and different for the audience.

I'm a critic It's my job to nitpick. Void of emotions

You have still not given a valid counter argument but only choosing to lean into the inaccurate narrative portrayed in the movie. I have stated facts, logically and rationally with experience about the modus operandi of a particular demograph but your own "imagination" of what its supposed to be is the accurate one. Oya na. Lmaoooo😂

This is why I said you've not been with or experienced CHRONIC gamblers. For you to portray something, you need to at least exist in their world. Jesse (from Breaking Bad) had to go live with drug addicts for a week to be able to ACCURATELY portray them. What you just wrote comes in the subjective actions of A NORMAL DEBTOR. Not a gambler or a debtor that has a loan shark THREATENING HIS LIFE AND HIS MUM Seriously. This isn't even rocket science When your well being and the life of your loved one is threatened, composure is OUT OF THE WINDOW. Chronic gamblers also NEVER see their properties as permanently owned. They see it as ASSETS TO BE LIQUIDATED at any given opportunity. They have the mindset that they can always get it back when they win. It's that HOPE THEY ALWAYS LEAN ON. I can tell you these because I have been with chronic gamblers. Do you now see that it's a situation of lack of research?
