If stw pack skins are being added to the shop rotation, then hopefully skins from level-up quest packs will too
And if we’re lucky, maybe they’ll finally give Omega Knight his light colors just like Omegarok and Omega Alpha

There are some issues I have with this statement:
1. Being negative at an outcome like this is completely justifiable because this isn’t the first time they could’ve avoided another layoff altogether. I’m not going to act like I know it all; but I’m pretty sure and confident the first wave of fires in 2023 didn’t have to happen if Epic just waited for Fortnite: OG to release.
Being negative at stupid decisions like this forces companies to think more times than usual before they act and in some cases, it might just work due to public pressure. They clearly are not looking for long-term solutions when the problems are obvious and in front of them.
The community is allowed to be negative and vocal about a situation like this where EpicGames does not care how many hours you put into the game — they will do whatever makes them the most money. EX: They could ban you today or tomorrow alongside your SAC and it wouldn’t even affect them, they would not care. This type of mindset is ridiculous when loyalty means nothing to Fortnite.
the money we spend on the game, a huge portion is being wasted on UEFN, lawsuits, and other useless means. Like the X3 SAC boost we had at the start of the season — it helps creators but it’s completely unnecessary given to their current situation. Just more throwing money out there than needed.
2. You say the best thing to do is to show support and retweet posts for those affected, but you’ve yet to do it? I’m very confused because while you saying it in a stream IS good — you aren’t even doing what you are promoting. I know you care, but it’s just giving performative.
I don’t need to tell you this because you already know, but I’m going to repeat it anyway. Layoffs have a huge impact on the performance and quality of games. We haven’t even fully recovered from the 2023 lay offs, so I understand why people are being negative about this whole situation.
Many modes are being shut down due to the layoffs — and more like Fortnite: OG are at risk. (FNOG’s quality was already horrible to begin with but what happened today will definitely cause it to die)
This is not me trying to be your usual twitter dick but I’m genuinely explaining why people are so frustrated. This affects THOUSANDS of families and MILLIONS of players. So this situation definitely deserve a negative reaction out of EVERYONE.

guess who got laid off today! 🫠
i am genuinely so confused and bewildered
like, i spent the past week debugging the rivalry system while recovering from pneumonia
and just in the past few days i’ve had multiple directors tell me how much they appreciate everything i do
