My neighbor is moving out of our compound.
He’s a senior engineer and they are honestly doing well.
I thought he got his own house, so I asked jokingly.
He laughed and said,
“No oh. Landlord increased the rent last year from ₦1.3m to ₦1.7m and this year again he increased to ₦2.3 million.”
They stay in a different building, a 3-bedroom apartment.
The part that got me was when he said,
“School fees tripled. Rent doubled. I’m moving to a smaller place so I can afford my children’s school fees.”
A serious migration is happening in this country.
People are not moving up anymore.
They are moving sideways just to protect their dignity.
People that should be planning how to build houses are now calculating rent.
This is a failed system designed to bring you down and keep you stuck there no matter how hard you work.

The greatest killer of many friendships is abusing access. All my life till today I have never BORROWED. From family. From friends from nobody except it’s for medical related purposes. Even when I was poor poor. Having a tough mentality since day one that hunger can’t kill me but fuel me to achieve better is one major thing that got me where I am today. A lot of friendships have been destroyed because most of you have brought beg beg attitude into it while you just lay there and contribute absolutely nothing to the source of the income. Do better this year

Nothing breaks me than this man’s death, they raised a cutlass and cut his head off.
I can’t imagine what his last moments were starring at a gruesome death. Will his kids ever forgive this country?
The blood of the innocent will cry for justice but no justice given.
Someone who went out for work and never made it back home, only to die in the forest like a cow. A man whose salary may not be upto 25k per month, struggled, strived, tortured….

First picture below just before he was murdered and second picture when he was in his Sunday Best. He was a Mathematics teacher. The bandits that released the video clip in order to scare away the security operatives that are closing in on them.

Keeping it a buck, Peter Obi has done his part; over 3 years he’s sustained his ‘opposition momentum’, has zero scandals & has kept his promise of appearing on the ballot.

So this APC supporter asked me to go and hug transformer because I said I would not vote for Tinubu.
