Sportsnet panel makes a pretty good point. Oilers top 3 C’s are all injured, they’re missing their best PKers, and who knows who else still has lingering issues. It’s difficult to make a deep run when you aren’t healthy

This camera angle which shows the line on about a 1.5 degree didn’t do the oilers any favours. Originally I had thought it was over by assumption. Drawing a perfect circle around the puck and a 1.5 degree line on the goal line you can see just how close it likely actually was.

Oilers with two consequential penalties in the second period, and the Ducks with a stern warning.

This was deemed a no goal, even though you can see the puck in the webbing, and logically it’s in. They couldn’t 100% say.

That's absolute bullshit. Completely embarrassing hack job by the referee to call that a goal on the ice. He was in horrific position and clearly did not have that call initially. There is no clear angle that I've seen of that puck wholly being across the line.
