Being invited to #NFC and performing at the opening ceremony is an unforgettable memory for me. So, I wrote down some thoughts and would love to share them with everyone! I remember back in 2023, at the Beast Infinite party, we met a lovely foreign furry who told us her was amazed by @wanna_beast_official's performance at the Infinite Showcase. Her loved it so much that he hoped we could one day perform in Europe! At first, we thought it was just a kind and friendly invitation, encouraging us to visit and experience it for ourselves. But later, we received an official message from her—she was none other than @FrozenNeroj , a member of @nordicfuzzcon , the second-largest furry convention in Europe! she invited us to be the special guests of the 2025 event, bringing the Wannabeast team and my guzheng to Europe for a performance at the opening ceremony. From the formation of Wannabeast to the moment I started playing the guzheng at furry conventions, it's been about two years. We never considered ourselves an amazing group—just a team of furry friends who love dancing and performing. We're still learning and exploring how to create performances that truly touch people's hearts. So, receiving this invitation to perform in Europe was an incredible and precious experience—not just for Wannabeast, but also for me, BlackDeer Seasnow, as a guzheng performer. This stage was the biggest we've ever set foot on: a week-long event with 5,000 attendees, a two-level stage with a 1,500-person capacity, and concert-level equipment. It made me incredibly nervous before stepping on stage. Fortunately, the amazing official team, the on-site technical crew, and the experienced hosts made sure that we, a group of performers from Taiwan, could present our best selves on stage. We brought K-POP dance and the traditional guzheng to a stage far from home. After the performance, we were met with an overwhelming round of applause from furry friends around the world, receiving even more love and attention than we ever expected. To share the guzheng, an instrument that has accompanied me for 15 years, with Foreign furries who had never heard it before—to see their surprise, excitement, and love for it—was truly heartwarming. And to be embraced so warmly by the audience filled me with gratitude. A deep and heartfelt thank you to the @NordicFuzzCon official team for inviting us. Thank you to my amazing dancer partners at @Wannabeast Official. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank some incredible friends: 昊狼 , for creating the WB stage animations—the quality exceeded all expectations! 框框 守逸 , for offering invaluable travel advice and assistance. 山松, for helping us find the background projection file when we had to perform at the closing ceremony at the last minute. 郭靖沐老師 , for sharing experience and advice on traveling abroad with a guzheng. @Thinder_Doggo from the official team, for always being there whenever we needed help. @Murrpy , the official photographer, for working with us to complete an incredibly challenging video shoot. Most importantly, thank you—everyone who has supported me and Wannabeast. Your support and applause have given our performances the chance to be seen by more people. The connections we’ve made through the furry community are precious beyond words. We will continue to bring our best performances to the stage, as our way of giving back to all of you.
