Just found out, at one @NHSuk hospital, the average waiting time for a DVT ultrasound diagnosis is 96 hours 🤯 For context, @NICEComms guidelines state it should be done within 4 hours. @ThinkSono is able to provide a result in less than 30 min. Let's scale this!

This is @ThinkSono performance! With one of our UK hospital partners, we've managed to safely triage more than 50% of all suspected DVT patients out of the hospital and into the community. There is no going back now the technology will be expanded across the UK (the world)!

Vascular surgeons at AGH are pioneering AI-assisted cardiovascular care as part of a @ThinkSono clinical trial for patients with deep vein thrombosis (DVT). This smartphone-integrated system enables faster diagnosis and treatment. Learn more: bit.ly/3DAGGGD

I'm very excited to announce that @ThinkSono UK clinical trial results have now been published in @Nature_NPJ ! This study is based on data from "ADVENT" a multi-centre, prospective, double blinded clinical trial that covers 11 sites with 381 patients! 1. The results show high sensitivity, specificity, and diagnostic quality data when reviewed by radiologists and emergency physicians (trained in ultrasound). 2. The data also suggests safely avoiding duplex ultrasound by an expert in 29-50% of all patients (depending on the reviewer). 3. The health economics show cost savings up to £208 per AI scan (depending on the reviewer). We will continue to deploy ThinkSono Guidance with additional safeguards in the real-world (more on that soon). As a company we aim to publish ALL papers (good and bad) for full transparency and will continue to build the must rigorously tested AI medical technology on the planet. It was a privilege to attend Prime Minister @Keir_Starmer AI Reception at @10DowningStreet yesterday. I spoke to the secretary to @wesstreeting about @ThinkSono 's potential to transform care for patients. The UK has immense potential when it comes to healthcare AI. We have the the regulatory framework, talent, research infrastructure and deep understanding of how to integrate care across the country. However, we also have some structural issues when it comes to commercialisation and scale. I believe that ThinkSono can become a national case study on how to deploy Healthcare AI in a safe, effective and practical way to lower costs and improve patient outcomes. I look forward to continuing the conversation with the UK Government.
