NAKAKAGALIT. NAKAKAGIGIL. you see people manually pumping their relatives’ ambu bags kasi walang available na ventilator… ultimo oxygen tank may queueing??? then you remember these corrupt officials enjoying their lavish lifestyles while people are dying not bc their case is hopeless but bc the system that’s supposed to be keeping them alive is failing them. kaya putangina bumoto kayo ng tama kasi lahat tayo patuloy na pupulutin sa lusak dahil hinahayaan nating puro buwaya ang makinabang sa mga bagay na araw na araw nating pinaghihirapan. SO AGAIN, CORRUPTION KILLS.

The Comelec absolved Sen. Marcoleta of the election offense of violating Sec 109 of the Election Code on the filing of SOCEs because the offense was already decriminalized under RA 7166. While this is true, the Comelec should not have stopped there. It should have referred its findings and resolution to the NBI and the Ombudsman for investigation of possible perjury and graft charges. Hindi siya dapat pinalusot nang ganoon lang. May iba pang posibleng krimen na nagawa si Marcoleta sa pagtago niya ng mga election donations sa kanyang SOCE. Dapat lang na isangguni ng Comelec sa ibang ahensiya ang resulta ng kanilang imbestigasyon kung may iba pang batas na nilabag si Marcoleta, maliban sa election code.

Medyo malala isipin na andun tayo sa point that a public official taking public transportation is met with disbelief or, reversely, with admiration. Maniwala kayo, until we normalize this, we will not get meaningful reforms and progress in our public transportation system.
