#WATCH | Delhi Police Crime Branch busts major counterfeit Sensodyne toothpaste unit in Khanjawala, arresting one person, Hari Om Mishra, a resident of Sector-2, Rohini, with a huge consignment of fake Sensodyne toothpaste, empty tubes, cartons, filling and sealing machines, raw paste, and packaging material worth lakhs. On April 2, a well-planned raid was conducted at a godown located in C-Block, Mahaveer Vihar, Khanjawala, Delhi. A case has been registered at the Crime Branch police station under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Copyright Act. Further investigation is underway. During interrogation, the accused Hari Om Mishra admitted that he had rented the godown and was involved in filling empty Sensodyne tubes with locally prepared paste and selling them in the market without any valid license or authorisation. Delhi Police has busted a fake "Sensodyne" toothpaste factory. 1,800 filled tubes, 10,000 empty tubes, 1,200 packed tubes, and 130 kg of paste have been seized. The factory owner, Hariom Mishra, has been arrested.
