Reflecting on this news overnight; I think Trump just ended the US empire in the pacific, for better or for worse. What will happen in Europe I think is still very much up in the air. I also think there will be profound political fallout within the Trump coalition as this plays out. Every Trump voter I know IRL voted Trump basicly because they thought he would make them richer. They are all about to get poorer for a while, in some cases a lot poorer.

I've avoided the "Wifejack" discourse to this point, but this is totally delusional. It's a lame series of jokes that very often does a terrible job presenting aspirations for women. Make better memes.
