The chainlink community response to the LZ incident is incredible. You could say “layerzero killed my grandma with a bazooka” and dudes named chainlinkguy and fishpussy will be quote tweeting it like “this post directly contradicts LZ’s public stance on grandmas. Yet another instance of LayerZero GASLIGHTING YOU. The original source implies that Bryan is UGLY and a LIAR! Massively agree. Furthermore, Bryan may be a poker player but you can’t bluff when it’s all onchain! And if you check the Chainlink chain, ZERO grandma deaths. Unbelievable. Just use chainlink.” This is their Super Bowl and they are more thrilled that the other team just got a bunch of injuries than that their team is doing really cool things. The BD effort and comms from chainlink have been exceptional, and hats off to truly a masterful swoop in, but these community guys are just hooting and hollering “LayerZero tore ALL their ACLs, know who didn’t tear their ACLs?”

happy to chat on a call if you want to book but a 'golden cohort' in crypto is a different beast from actual real life game mechanics. go get 210 random people (or even 21 random people) to play it in a form that's not 'early access' or 'exclusive access' or 'later rewards will likely come if I do this now' - i.e. get a vanilla and clean user-set and measure their KPI's. Then you'll at least know for sure. Your data is great but surely tainted as it is now, so thats what I mean in that you can't trust it. It's like asking your mom who the most handsome kid in the class is.

Some early retention data from @SyndicateGameHQ that I'm super proud of: Amount of users in the beta test = 210. 67.3% of sign ups are DAUs. D1 Retention = 78% D7 Retention = 69% (lol) D30 Retention = 55% DAUs open the game approximately 10 times per day. ARPU = $154.73 (annualised) This is all for a game with no earning mechanics (yet), where all data will be WIPED when the main game goes live 😅 I think we're on to something special here. Experts - please come and grill me and tell me what I should be looking for next?

@modestasraz @threejs @OpenAI I had a fully solid and working (and shipped) horse / jockey animation system in Unity already... so after that it was just brow-beating GPT into converting everything over and optimizing it to load and run in three :)

I used Codex CLI for this one. I have an existing fully 'done' unity game race simulation engine, but I wanted a lite-weight renderer in threejs so I needed full remap of all the stuff (models, animations, materials, textures, etc) to work on web and also be optimized to be more performant - it did all the work for me of analyzing the unity project and copying the files it needed over into this new sandbox project (and made the ui too)

@alphastack1 @threejs @OpenAI The main helper was Codex / GPT writing scripts to a) reduce poly counts and b) combine meshes and materials - it did it all via Blender (headless or CLI I think - I never even saw it open the app or anything)

over at @photofinishgame we run fully simulated races every 3-5 minutes (sometimes more) and have 4 separate render boxes that export videos out. that takes time (typically realtime ish) to render. users want option to not have to wait and to be able to also change camera angles. So a lower poly / lite version that can run in web was the idea.
