I wanted to share a quick announcement ... I'm going to be launching a bi-weekly session called Workflow Wednesdays starting on Wednesday 20 September. The sessions will include a mix of presentations, hands-on workshops, and conversational based content.

I feel the story this year had legs, but they didn't really do anything. Imagine if they stretched it out and mirrored Cody and Drew leaving and coming back. Could have been good to even have The Archetype start a promotion with a new character (mirroring AEW's story).

@TPWSpodcast To be fair, I sort of liked the 2K20 story. Not too much, but enough to bring Red and Tre back in my custom universe mode. Granted, I'm slightly pivoting with Tre to make him an underdog with a geeky undertone rather than an intolerable nerd. Nothing against nerds btw.

At least 20 had a story (not a good one) but it wasn't pure Rise Matches. This one feels like it was thrown together overnight.

@TPWSpodcast @WWEgames I'm at 30. Expecting to hit 40 by the end of the week most likely. I've found an easy way to build up points is to use tournaments and play all the matches. If you play all the matches you'll go up a tier on e per tournament.

#WWE2K26 What TIER LEVEL are you at? Maxed out? Still chasing 40? Are you holding off modes for upcoming seasons?!

Building on the boost for star ratings in a match, I'd simply add on 35 points per extra star (rounded up value of 135 / 4). Essentially this: - 1 Star = 135 RXP - 2 Stars = 170 RXP - 3 Stars = 205 RXP - 4 Stars = 240 RXP - 5 Stars = 275 RXP I did think 270 originally.

Good list here. I'd also include these items: - Boost based on match star ratings. - Daily boot-up RXP. - Show finish boost for Universe/MyGM. - Additional boost for PLE completion in Universe/MyGM.

@TPWSpodcast Not to be too contrary, but I did say DLC in the first 10. 4 is obviously better, but I don't think 10 is unreasonable as it's not too difficult to go up 10 tiers relatively quick. But they should also up the RXP for standard matches.

I second this. Ive said from the start if DLC has to be included in the pass, put them in the first 4 tiers. People should access that right away. Mind you, this is the ONLY game to ever use their DLC in this way. (Not saying they are the first for a battle pass, so dont twist my words in the comments.) But when you buy a map pack from Call Of Duty, you get the maps immediately. EVERY mode should earn the same amount of RXP. Dont force me into a mode just because it gives more RXP. Not everyone wants to play MyFaction of the island. Some people literally buy this game and just create CAS. Just my opinion.

@TheSDHotel I'd also add in a function where in the showcase pass you get a pick your persona card, this would give players the freedom to get a persona they want without having to grind in MyFaction. It'd also be cool to get alternate personas in the free tier such as Bad News Barrett.

@TheSDHotel I agree, I think the RXP model needs to be reviewed for upcoming seasons. My thoughts on it are: - RXP for a daily load. - RXP for creation suite. - RXP for online play. - RXP for completing shows in Universe and MyGM. - DLC Characters in first 10 tiers.

Adjustments I'd make to the Ringside Pass: - If DLC characters have to be tied to the Pass, they should be in the first 4 tiers so everyone who paid for them can unlock them easily. - No recycled content. I think the Pass is a great addition, but it should only include new content. Putting legends from previous games in the Pass wasn't very well received by players. 2K said that from Season 2 onward everything will be new content, so we'll see how that goes. - Every mode should award RXP, including Online Lobbies and Creations. It feels unfair that players who mainly play online with friends or create content can't earn RXP to unlock DLC and other rewards. Also consider that from Season 2 onward, modes like Showcase and MyRISE will naturally see much less activity, while Online modes and Creations will become more central to keeping the game alive throughout the year. #WWE2K26

@CianMercier Totally understandable. I think the Wyatt run for them was the best as they used run-in's for every match. So those Rise matches felt connected.

@ThisIsMarkJones For me it just takes me out the story and makes me feel like they didn’t care about making a detailed story, just a long one.

Yeah, im honestly really disappointed in MyRise. Its a mode i look forward to every year, and this year id have to say it was by far the worst one ive played.

@CianMercier @TPWSpodcast TBH, I didn't necessarily mind this. Especially considering I'm trying to complete the Rise matches. However, I do get the dislike for it.

@TPWSpodcast This!!! There’s like 5 minutes of story, it’s entirely predictable with entirely too much filler. The you need 12 stars to advance system SUCKS.

@TPWSpodcast This year feels far less creative as it's the same story for both face and heel. I liked the MyRise last year, and the two years prior. Now it feels like the hotspot is unique stories for male and female, and a unique co-up story.

@TPWSpodcast I haven't minded it so far ... however, because I'll have to still play through it multiple times in order to unlock everything, I am sure I will be disappointed in it. It feels fine for a single play through item, but not for a mode that's played more than once.

@TPWSpodcast To be fair, while part of me isn't a fan of 2K making us work for the DLC when we've paid such a high price already. This change isn't as bad as what a lot of people saying it is in my view. It could have been a lot worse TBH.

We all knew it was coming. But they did buff rxp to 135 with 60 second time limits and add custom matches stipulations. 60 second finisher matches incoming? #WWE2K26

@Heel_Tyler I also have this weird thing in create a show where General Purpose commentary isn't an option. It's been there in every other 2K game that has had Create a Show, so it seems a little odd for it to suddenly be gone.

@Heel_Tyler I thought this was weird the other day as you can use either a standard entrance or championship entrance for title motions in the single Superstar motion. TBH, I feel this is a mistake that hasn't been fixed via a patch yet. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Like why can’t I pick the same entrance for the championship as the regular entrance??? We were able to in 25 #WWE2K26

@All3nPlayzGamez @MrSantiZap It could well be. I'd love for that to be the case. However, considering his history, Joe Hendry fits for coming out of the box. So, I tried to make it a little more interesting than hehe it's Joe spawning again.

@MrSantiZap This would be similar to how Joe appeared in the place of that girl in the recent Vanity Project backstage skit. So, in kayfabe we know Joe's spawning can make other people disappear.

@MrSantiZap If you're wondering how we get there, I think the mechanism is simply that an interviewer asks Adam Pearce who it is before he opens the box. He responds with Joe Hendry, then the box is opened. Joe spawns because someone said his name.
