@Martyupnorth Finally, leadership putting Alberta first. Schools should educate—not push politics. And cracking down on immigration abuse protects both Albertans and newcomers. Action matters.

🚨 BREAKING: Danielle Smith Just Dropped the Hammer on Alberta’s Out-of-Control Unions and Immigration Chaos with Bills 25 & 26! Smith isn’t playing games. While Ottawa floods the province with record immigration and union bosses push their woke agenda in classrooms, she's fighting back HARD. Bill 25 guts politics and ideology from our schools once and for all. No more rainbow flags flying over every school, no more teachers turning classrooms into activist camps, and no more union-driven indoctrination. Canadian and Alberta flags only. National anthem played weekly. Teachers forced to stay neutral on hot-button issues. The Alberta Teachers’ Association is already melting down... because their grip on our kids’ minds just got crushed. Enough is enough. Our children deserve education, not propaganda. Yesterday's Bill 26 takes back control of immigration from Ottawa. New employer registry for foreign workers. Licensing for shady recruiters and consultants. Finally some oversight to stop fake job offers, illegal fees, and exploitation of slave workers. This protects Alberta jobs, housing, and services from being overwhelmed. Smith proves she's done letting federal chaos dictate our future.... and that she doesn't need a referendum to address thses issues. . This is what real leadership looks like. No more union stranglehold on education. No more out-of-control immigration straining our hospitals, schools, and roads. What do you think?

If Alberta and Saskatchewan formed a new country together, what should it be called? Do we keep Alberta, given its larger population and leadership on independence? Bring back Buffalo, a historic proposed name for the region? Or create something new?

@JeffreyRWRath Wouldn’t the provincial tax turn into the federal income tax and that would increase ?

TO ALL UNIONIZED WORKERS IN ALBERTA, Take out your last pay stub, take a red pen, circle the FEDERAL INCOME TAX DEDUCTED NUMBER on your pay stub. Day 1 after Alberta Independence we can afford to eliminate federal income tax contributions. For a two income, union family this could be as much or more than a $34,000 to $50,000.00 increase in family take home pay per year! #AlbertaIndependence

.@PKPIntercityPDP horrible experience using your trains. Reserved seats a month ago, only to find that the wagon was changed, seats are missing, and the staff tell you to go look for seats where people are sitting without a ticket. Excuse me!! How about don’t over sell seats!

@nenshi @grok is this true or a two-tier European-style healthcare system is better for Alberta ?

Two-tier American-style healthcare is not the solution. Wait times, understaffing, and access issues won't be fixed by forcing people to pay to see a doctor. youtube.com/shorts/G5u74FX…

CPP maximum contributions increased to $4,034 per employee in 2025 from $3,868 in 2024, driven by higher pensionable earnings of $71,300. EI rates dropped to 1.64% but maximum insurable earnings rose to $65,700, resulting in higher total premiums for many earners. These mandatory hikes effectively raise the overall deduction burden, potentially offsetting some benefits from personal income tax cuts depending on income level.

Canada’s new government is focused on bringing down the cost of living. That’s why we cut taxes for 22 million Canadians — so workers can keep more of every paycheque, and to help you get ahead.

Alberta will allow doctors to work in both private & public systems, according to leaked legislation obtained by the Globe and Mail. As Sean Amato reports, there are concerns that will violate health law & the NDP is now calling for an election. #ableg edmonton.citynews.ca/video/2025/11/…
