@This_weirduser @Motor1com I get it, and it’s really good that ford achieved that. But author is comparing to amg one and talking bout only gas engine no hybrid. Car looks absolutely stellar tbh, and with their gt3, it’s good that ford is pushing into racing more

Le mans itself is not a championship but a race round, what are you talking about dude? As for rallying we never see Max in a rally car going full stages in rally event so you can't call him crap

Max Verstappen says he would love to compete in Super GT. The only obstacle is that he cannot commit to a full championship. Two weeks ago, Max drove a Nissan Z NISMO GT500 at Fuji, an experience he thoroughly enjoyed. 🗣️"It's a great category. @dzanek_ @neuminator1 @Motor1com The GT MKIV in essence is modified Ford GT GTE race car both built by Multimatic, this is probably as fast as they could go with the chassis limitations, 919 Hybrid being based on LMP1 regs have so many untapped potential that's why make the uncapped Evo version are that crazy

@dzanek_ @Motor1com Ford themselves never really compare this run with any production car, this news outlet does. you couldn't compare unrestricted Hybrid LMP1 car (1st fastest), purpose built EV time attack (2nd fastest), purpose built prototype from 1983 (3rd fastest) to this unrestricted GTE car

@Farzouille @nuerburgring C'mon now.. the Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo is an unrestricted LMP1 car while the GT MKIV is an unrestricted GTE car. They're basically competing in different league of performance. And mind you the GT MKIV only have ICE only powerplant unlike the ICE+EV motor of 919 Hybrid Evo

@thefgcthief @jimfarley98 @Ford @nuerburgring It may be not a production car but it still matter, just like how Porsche do with 919 Hybrid Evo and VW do with I.D R EV time attack car, they mostly do this run to claim the fastest only ICE car although the missed it by about 4 seconds to Steffan Bellof Porsche 956 from 1983

Team say Verstappen tyre error was made in routine driver and tyre changes during qualifying. Teams rotate tyres and drivers simply to practice changing them all at once. Somewhere in there an extra set has been introduced. Shame after a great performance from all involved. Tyre limit in NLS is a full event limit across race and qualifying.
