@ThisisnDox No I don’t think so. No one externalizes the Kwacha other than the bank (which is legal), if you read the article I write of local (money stays within the country) and international (money being received into the country) remittances.

@mtendere1 I don't fully agree, giving people access to externalisation will mean more money is externalised, nobody will save in kwachas

@ThisisnDox It would depend, on the productivity of the economy. Digital payments would in most cases help keep money in circulation to be accounted in the economy, as cash in hand that doesn’t always mean it’s accounted. The forex issue is mostly reliant on trade, investments, debt, etc.
