Tamilnadu politics was transitioning after the demise of Amma and Kalaignar. There was a vacuum that needed to be filled. MK Stalin filled a part of the vacuum. There is a 2nd player required in a democracy. Vijay stepped in at the right time (after backing DMK in 2021!) and made politically smart and bold moves. He has sealed the vacuum for now. Politics is also about stamina. Remember the stamina that Kalaignar and Amma possessed that made them last so long? How long Vijay will last will depend on his stamina. In DMK, there is an organisation that will help the party reemerge. I wish the very best to Vijay because his doing well is important for TN.

"Never underestimate the people, for they always see more than we assume"- I beg to disagree. When emotions are running high no one makes good decision. People made wrong decisions in the past like in choosing the 1991 Jaya govt but later they could correct it only after 5 years!

It also shows it is useless and fooolish idea to walk thousands of KM across India like @RahulGandhi did. Hereafter RaGa should do WFH like @TVKVijayHQ . Also learn some fantastic dancing.

I hope this election puts an end to large public meetings where people are brought in buses and vans for a payment. Such meetings are pointless. Press coverage on such meetings may get some visibility for the party, but do not yield any results electorally.
