What #Milei is doing is strategically very sound. He is choosing a path of reform that brings large segments of society along with him and avoids triggering social upheavals so severe that they would ultimately derail his project. It is still fairly high (and, accordingly, CPI inflation has remained fairly high: 33.1% y/y in Feb 26), but money supply growth is coming down; and if money supply growth continues to slow down, so will CPI inflation.

JUST IN 🇮🇷🇺🇸: : The Pentagon plans to deploy about 3,000 troops from the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East. This confirms to me the fake talks of ceasefire negotiations was to buy time for these 3,000 to land to prepare for a ground attack. Most likely for Kharg Island. This wont end well.

Hormuz traffic sends mixed signals Iran appears to be pursuing a calibrated strategy in the Strait of Hormuz, using selective vessel passage as strategic signalling rather than imposing full disruption. According to #MarineTraffic data, some activity may be resuming, with nine vessels having crossed since yesterday, including the Marivex, Jasmin, Bright Gold, Lenore, Jag Vasant, Pine Gas, Kiazand, Artman, and Levantes. Some of these movements appear to be taking place outside the IMO traffic separation scheme, close to Qeshm Island, raising questions about route control, risk exposure, and whether this reflects a genuine resumption of activity or a more constrained traffic pattern.
