Every other shot in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK is stupid beautiful, but the nearly expressionistic use of the set, shadow and steam in the carbon freezing chamber is where the series visually peaked. it's one astounding image after the next.

@moons_artwork Back in high school in the 90s I was voted most likely to be abstaining from AI discussion online, but here I am burning time trying to predict the future.

@moons_artwork It's a bit of a trolley problem in my mind. People are definitely on the tracks, but who and how many? I'd love for this to still be an abstraction where I could speculate on what I'd do without any real stakes. But it's here. We'll all be choosing within the next year or two.

@moons_artwork He's not wrong. And yet, the corporate forces that run the world and steer culture will have their way with the workplace. Somehow, we have to navigate all of this, and hopefully come out of the other side better artists, better people, and still love what we're doing.
