The new Nordic report is a strong message to us all. If the #PlasticsTreaty establishes a set of specific common global rules, we can cut #plasticpollution by 90%. If not, plastic pollution will almost double. Global regulations on plastic pollution are long overdue.

Merci à tous les négociateurs et représentants de la société civile présents en force à l’@UNESCO_fr pour ce #INC2, tout particulièrement les pays de la @HACplastic et les ONG. Merci d’avoir maintenu un discours ambitieux, d’avoir rappelé l’urgence et la nécessité d’agir. Nous étions tous réunis pour travailler à un objectif commun : mettre fin a la pollution plastique. @EmmanuelMacron le souhaitait, cette seconde session des négociations du traité plastique aura été un jalon important. Rendez-vous à Nairobi en novembre avec un texte sur la table à négocier, avec l'objectif d'aboutir dès 2024 ! On avance !
