Tepid bath of managed decline latest. The government now pays for consultants to tell pubs to serve warm lager and turn off their fridges. Making energy cheaper is an afterthought.

What does this actually achieve? How does this make anyone better off? It's a stupid idea, based off virtue signalling. Stupid policy from a stupid party.

A shocking beginning to Mullally’s period in office. I’m willing to accept that the clash of events was not anticipated, but Dame Sarah’s pilgrimage becomes no more than a charade if it takes precedence over the sacred Christian duty of protecting late-term unborn babies from slaughter. And her moral authority is reduced to ZERO before she is even enthroned. Anglicans who grasp this point must make their voices heard now.
