You’re gonna go through times where you really suck. And it really sucks to suck. But dwelling on it and putting yourself in a negative, pouty, woe is me mindset, will only make you suck even more. When (not if) you suck, stay positive, keep playing the game the right way, keep being a great teammate, keep up your energy and hustle, and you will eventually suck less. How you handle the sucky times that ⚾️ brings will determine whether or not you will have longevity, and if you really have the competitive mindset needed to be elite. #BaseballTruth

Think about this for a sec… Most of what you see on social media regarding Hitting information has to do with swing mechanics alone. AND, swing mechanics are argued over regularly. But… Real in-game hitting success starts with how you react to what you see and your mental situational approach. The time frame to react and be on time is less than a half a second. This process to see the ball, react to speed and location, adjust to the movement and decide to swing or not swing is vital to a hitter’s success, but yet so much time is spent focusing on swing mechanics! Swing mechanics ARE important, but there is SOOOO much more to attaining real in-game hitting success!! The reality: Most of the time, YOUR SWING CAN’T HELP YOU!!! But yet that’s all that’s talked about by unqualified “swing” gurus. Don’t be fooled by this generation of “swing” coaches and find a real hitting coach!!! BASEBALL TRUTH
