@ThomasJDesign @Steve70_WFC Yeah the decision to get a new sponsor over Mr Q was taken last summer. I just have a very low opinion of the people running the clubs morals though . feel if there was a lot more money to be had with a gambling sponsor they would take it . Still a good thing however got there 🙂

A more family friendly sponsor and a clean logo that will adapt to any kit design (already seen the logo used in 3 different colourways over the announcement). Good to see

@MarkHow78315751 @Steve70_WFC The gambling ban was announced earlier this year right? Watford expressed their frustrations with MRQ last summer (admittedly aesthetically not morally) and I imagine the decision was made then.

@Steve70_WFC @ThomasJDesign Pretty sure it'd make it far less attractive to sponsor a championship club if you put in a break clause upon promotion. significantly reducing what a firm like Mr Q would offer . It's a good decision just would have been more impressive if done before the prem ban.

@Steve70_WFC ones a club stance, ones a league commitment. When we constantly refer to ourselves as 'The Original Family Club' our decisions on what we can control matters.

@ThomasJDesign For what its worth shirt sponsorship (or lack of) means little when you have Sky Bet plastered all over the advertising hoardings IMO

@Steve70_WFC I think a complete overhaul of our identity/culture is important right now. This is a small gesture but a meaningful one. Many won't agree and I understand that, but I think this is strategically a sensible move.

For what it's worth, I voted Louza. But I find this result very reassuring when it comes to our fanbase who don't shout loudest on social media.

All for this, feels like a statement. We know clubs our size aren't owed anything, promotion is always a bonus. What we respond to are leaders that show emotional intelligence, commitment and hang around long enough to become familiar. Not easy to be a Pollock at a club like us
