We call them leaders But they're actually civil servants Civil servants meant to serve the people. To actualize the will of the people In the real sense, our leaders are paid employees

Women *OUTNUMBER* men in higher education = equality Men outnumber women at the doctoral level = important gaps remain. it's bad when women are behind, but it's fine if men are? Feminism was never about fairness for all, it was always abt male suppression.

Women now outnumber men in higher education globally. Yet important gaps remain. Women continue to be underrepresented at doctoral level and hold only around one quarter of senior leadership positions in academia. Progress is real, but achieving equality in leadership, research and decision-making remains essential. 👉 More insights in @UNESCO’s Higher Education Global Trends Report: unesco.org/en/articles/nu…

😂😂😂 Welcome to the new order folks! Remember that whatever niche you will find men being underrepresented, It is because they are now falling behind and can’t keep up with the girlies. However, women being underrepresented is due to structural inequality and marginalization.

As a Nigerian, if kidnappers take you into the bush, you likely have little confidence that the police are actively searching for you or coming to rescue you. Yet the government still takes a cut from nearly every bank transfer you make as taxes and charges. So what exactly are they charging you for? What tangible protection or value is the average citizen truly receiving from the state?

There are currently 47 penny stocks on the NGX (stocks trading below ₦10), which means about 32% of NGX stocks fall within this price range. This makes it one of the most popular price ranges on the NGX. The stocks in this range with the highest trading volumes include: 1️⃣ Sterling Bank 2️⃣ Chams 3️⃣ Jaiz Bank 4️⃣ AIICO 5️⃣ Mbenefits 6️⃣ Tantalizers 7️⃣ Sovereign Trust 8️⃣ Lasaco 9️⃣ Veritas Kapital 🔟 Regal Insurance 1️⃣1️⃣ NSLTech 1️⃣2️⃣ Linkage Assurance 1️⃣3️⃣ FTN Cocoa Note: I’ve only included penny stocks with an average trading volume of over 10 million units. Most of these are micro-cap stocks, so they potentially have much more room for growth. I’ve added some of them to my portfolio to gain exposure to small-cap value stocks (low P/B, low PE, low PEG stocks). They only make up 10% of my portfolio so underperformance wouldn’t hurt my returns but outperformance could help my returns. Pls DYOR.

The Most Ignored Financial Tool by Newbie Investors Get your popcorn, let's gist A guy slid into my DMs recently. Let’s call him Tunde😀, Tunde had been lurking on finance Twitter for a month, watching people post screenshots of 150% gains @MudiTheInvestor 83m YTD profit was the last straw. He was desperate to jump in, told me, “Femi, I only have 15k left after bills. I’m waiting until I can drop a solid 500k so it actually makes sense.” A week later, he saw a Facebook ad and paid 5k to join a "VIP Signal" WhatsApp group promising daily 10x alerts. By mid-week, he’d pumped his remaining 10k into a volatile penny stock he didn't understand. By Friday, the stock dipped. His money was gone. He was right back to where he started: waiting for a miracle. Tunde’s story isn’t rare. We sit on the sidelines, paralyzed by how small we feel, completely blind to the weapons we already hold. It reminds me of a powerful truth by @Joshua_selman_: “Woe betides the man who stands before Pharaoh and beside Goliath, yet never discovers the tools God already placed in his hands.” When Moses stood before Pharaoh, terrified and stuttering, he kept begging for signs and wonders. God’s response was simple: “What is that in your hand?” It was just a basic shepherd’s rod. But used with purpose, it parted the Red Sea. When David faced Goliath, he didn't need the king’s heavy, expensive armor. He had a sling and five smooth stones, tools he had already mastered while protecting sheep in the wilderness. The biggest mistake retail investors make today is looking at the "Pharaohs" of finance (institutional funds) and thinking, “I am too small.” Or looking at the "Goliaths" (market volatility) and freezing in fear. If you are waiting for a massive windfall or a secret insider tip before you start, you are suffering from Moses Mistake. You are standing before the giant empty-handed, while the tools are literally in your grasp. Here are 3 tools you are likely ignoring right now: 1. The Power of the Small Start Too many people refuse to invest because they don't have hundreds of thousands ready. But in the stock market, consistency beats capital every single day. Starting small, even if it’s just the cost of a few weekend hangouts, suya denials, coke fasting, etc, builds the muscle of discipline. Your small allocations are your practice. By the time your capital grows, your discipline will be sharp enough to handle it. 2. Time and Compound Interest You don't need a PhD. in finance or twenty blinking charts. Your greatest weapon isn't your IQ; it's time. Compound interest is an ordinary tool that produces extraordinary results over a long horizon it's called the 8th wonder of the world. A mediocre investment held for fifteen years will destroy a "genius" hyper-volatile trade held for fifteen days. (Just look at @compoundinnaira for proof). Drop your rod into that water. 3. Absolute Ownership of Your Strategy When David tried to wear Saul’s armor, he couldn't move. It wasn't his. Woe betides the investor who blindly copies what the "experts, investment houses" or the loudest voices on social media are doing. Your goals and risk tolerance are unique to you. Slow down, do your own research (DYOR), and understand exactly what you are buying. When you own a business based on its fundamentals and dividend history, you don't panic when the market shakes. Stop looking at the Giants. Look at Your Hands. The market can look terrifying. Inflation and economic shifts can make you feel like a slave to circumstance. But the tragedy isn't the strength of the giant; it’s the ignorance of the hero. Stop waiting for the perfect economic climate. Stop waiting until you are rich to start investing. Look at what you have right now, your current income, your access to digital brokerage apps, your time, and your capacity to learn. Discover the tools already placed in your hands, stop making excuses, and step onto the field. The giant is waiting. Happy Sunday 😊

I was telling someone the other day about these billionaires 😅. I only appreciate them for one thing: LEVERAGE. At least we saw the Abiolas. Despite their father’s wealth, none of them have been able to sustain that billionaire legacy. So, kudos to Otedola and co, but I prefer to read books that resonate with my circumstances.

"Save from where exactly?" 🤨 If your salary finishes in two weeks, you aren’t necessarily "careless", you’re living in an evolving economy with a stagnant paycheck. We’re breaking down the actual cost of living in Nigeria right now: from the 133% minimum wage hike to the 35% jump in food prices. Key takeaway: Don’t just save. Invest in assets that fight inflation. Watch the full video.

These women have access to the best healthcare money can buy. They have the money to provide the best nutrition for their babies. And then we have you, based in Africa, who can’t even afford basic healthcare, let alone proper nutrition for kids. Please don’t bring a deformed child into this world just to make them suffer. If you like, follow this advice. Don't give birth when your eggs are most fertile. that's you go cry.

MAYBAKER’s recent numbers are very impressive. Revenue up 32%. PBT up 154%. EPS jumped from 93k to 257k. Lower raw material costs are already improving margins. Though, the stock is down this week. But after a 268% rally in 12 months, profit-taking was expected. More to come.

2022, a friend returned from the UK and dashed me Manchester United jersey of all jerseys. I made a point of taking pictures with it to send to my Man U fans friends to announce I had joined Man U, after which I would inform them it was a prank. Anyway, the point of the post is really about the quoted tweet (which is also my pinned tweet). I want everyone in Nigeria to see it. That video is one of my best works ever.
