Glasgow's forgotten working-class communities have had enough.

The plans for a 24hr shop in Crowlin Crescent, Cranhill haven’t been thought out and would cause a disturbance to local residents. I am not against investment in the property long-term, but this should not be at the expense of local resident’s peace and safety.

SNP mouthpiece, Aamer Anwar, talking absolute bollocks once again. The biggest threat to our society is the extremist left-wing ideology that he promotes, which backs mass migration, open borders and prioritises strangers who jump the queue.

As a Cranhill lad - what we witnessed yesterday was the latest sign of community frustration at an establishment who has turned their back on them. This follows several incidents which have heightened tensions across Glasgow communities. There are questions remaining and I have requested an urgent meeting with Police Scotland to discuss these. In the meantime, I would urge for calm whilst the justice system takes its course. Locals are saying enough is enough, I hope those in power are listening.
